Yesterday was a work day. Trevor and I went over to our friends at Chase Bank and got all kinds of papers squared away.
Wendy called faithfully at 8:00am from Paris. The swans, Julef and Juliette are down to one cygnet, but Michel thinks the other one, who had a bad foot, is at the vet bing fixed. No names for the babies yet.
Ian called and I talked to Richard, Cassie and Daisy.
Then Mack called from San Diego. He is involved in a stupendous new product called 'Fusion' . More later.
Finally in the evening Brianne called and I 'communicated' a bit with baby Maddox. He has grown out of his clothes already! Heather leaves tomorrow for Yuba City. She will be greatly missed.
I have heard from some of you on the blog page, but hope everyone chimes in soon.
Thank you for your support and love. Love, Val
Bri and I watched the house inspector inspect. He found a few items that are easily corrected.. the important stuff was great. Crawl space had concrete foundation and roof is quite new, from 2013. No past or present leaks around plumbing or exterior of house or under house. Paint is in good shape on house, decks need some paint, but otherwise in good shape. They even planted some veggies in the raised beds that will benefit David and Bri. We visited the town of Shelton, all two downtown blocks. Some fun stores. Tomorrow we go to the base and get Maddox officially recognized as a military dependent, entitled to military health care. Then I leave in the evening and return to Yuba City. Glad I'll see everyone next month. Unofficially, state has approved the end of the school year as June 9. This means we can drive up and pick up Bri, Daisy and the grandkids and drive to Whistler... unless the state changes it's collective mind.
