I am re-reading David Copperfield! Apparently somewhat autobiographical. It seems Victorians were 'politically correct' too. And men crying all over the place. It was written for Victorian ladies of leisure who loved sentimental novels, and Dickens was a master of sentiment. Robin hated "A Christmas Carol" because he thought Scrooge was judged unfairly.
Daisy had an exciting incident involving a handle cover for her frying pan which caught on fire. She got to know her neighbors very well, and there was a lot of clean-up from the fire extinguisher, but no one was hurt, thank goodness.
Todd has (had) a rocket club with several classes. He got promises from everyone that they would obey the safety rules. But promises are made to be broken, right? Kids jumped on back of car (a no no), and jumped over fence, (another no no). No more rocket club.
Took Trevor and Robyn to the King Harbor Yacht Club last night. There was a little band, and some of the members got up and sang. And danced.
Had a nice long talk with Andrew Mack on his drive home. May go down his way sometime and check out over 55 (Baby Boomer) places in La Jolla, University Village, Coronado and Carlsbad.
