Last time we chronicled Andrew Mack's doings at UCSD. Today we hear about Matthew.
Matthew has landed a dream job for the summer! Most people would agree that turning down a fabulous summer job with Microsoft takes some doing, but Matthew has decided that working with drones will be much more interesting. In his own words, “I finally pulled the proverbial trigger and signed with Skydio.” He modestly attributes this possibility to his connections afforded by Olin. Again in his words, “Its one thing to get a job with Microsoft out of Sophomore year of college, but its an entire other thing to be able to turn down a return offer for something even better…the founder went to Olin, someone in my class is spending the semester working there, they know how Oliners work and they hire for that.” Skydio is currently in stealth mode, but they should be making news before the end of the year.
